BookBub is a marketing service where 10 million readers go to get discounted e-books. You basically purchase an advertising slot for a few hundred dollars, then run the ad. You have to submit the book for approval first, and the folks there might look at your star ratings, your sales history, an other factors before approving. I’ve found that if I put in an $800 ad, I tend to make $2400 on a book–so I’ll use this service every time.
But wait! This works better if you are promoting the first book in a series, so that you get readers for your series as a whole.
Also note that they only give you one shot with a book. So pick your timing well!
