Writing Ring Spreadsheet
Posted by Leah Ning on January 29, 2020 at 11:46 pmHi all!
I got asked to post my spreadsheet here. It’s right at this link. If you see any inaccuracies, just let me know either via the replies here or via comments in the spreadsheet itself and I’m happy to update it! Both methods will go straight to my email, so unless that gets messed up, there should be no chance that I miss it.

Hello Leah!
Would you be able to stick me, Katika Schneider, under Fantasy? I think I missed the post where all the names were initially being gathered on the group.
Thank you much!
-
Hi Leah!
Could you please add me, Lyn Goodpaster, to Fantasy and to Romance?
Thank you for all your hard work!
-
Done and done, for both of you! If there’s ever any other genres you’d like to be added to, just let me know.
-
Lazarus, I compiled this manually using a Facebook poll in the group (which is pretty buried at this point). It may be easier to just tell me which genres you’d like to be in rather than trying to dig up the poll. If a genre you write in is missing, just let me know and I’d be more than happy to add it!

Thanks. I’m not even sure what the list does outside of list our interests and output. Is it used for anything?

Lazarus, it’s just here to have all the people under all the genres in one place so that when they go to form writing rings, they know who to start contacting. 🙂 You’re under all those categories now. If you want new categories added or yourself added to other categories at any point, feel free to ping me again!
Sarah, you’re all set!

Hi,
Does anyone have any idea how we would select people for a ring? Is it too early in the process? -
Jake Parrick:
Can you put me under Fanatsy?
The Atlantis Project, book 1 in a series, is about a group of Americans who made a deal with God to escape a nuclear war by traveling back in time to right after Noah’s flood in exchange for building Atlantis and fighting angel-human hybrids called nephilim.
It is realistic and gritty at times, with story driven graphic violence and some sexuality. Multiple POV with strong male and female leads.
Book 1 is in a final draft with many rewrites.
Book 2 is getting its final draft right now.
I’m looking for serious writers with the time to invest in a writers circle (not looking for a group that’ll take 6 months or a year to critique a book), who have work that is complete and in later stages of development.
Both for critique and to do the Compleat Courses.
Thanks!

Hi Leah,
Could you put me under the following:
Fantasy
Young Adult
Romance
Historical Fiction
Adventure
Speculative Fiction
Alternative History
Historical FantasyThanks!

I don’t think it’s ever too early to get in a ring. There should be a folder for rings/circles on here. (I can’t look for it and type this msg LOL) You can state where you are in your writing/novel/story and what you are looking for in a ring. People will pick up.
