Arium: Create – Collaborative worldbuilding + RPG in one
Hello, fellow Apexians!
It’s time for me to share a passion project of mine with this group, even if it is slightly different than the typical writing most of this group focuses on. I’ve been fortunate enough to be part of a creative team who created an amazing little thing called Arium. Arium is one-part collaborative worldbuilding system and one-part tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG).
I wrote an article about Arium’s power as a tool for writers and I’d love for you all to read it. We are launching the Kickstarter for it on 8/26 and, while the marketing for that does focus on the TTRPG community, the potential this game has for writing groups is immense. In fact, that’s how Arium started – as a writing exercise for one of the groups I am involved with.

Sounds like an excellent project to back and I’ve done so. It may have application in my next LitRPG project.

John, sorry that I missed this comment. Thanks a ton for your support! I hope that it can help with your LitRPG writing. I almost dipped into that world a couple years ago – I was part of the initial #GameLit group but, as the case with a lot of these things, it sort of imploded due to its own ego issues.
I look forward to hearing what you think about Arium.
