After going over the story, I have compared it to the original idea that I wrote, and I understand why I was not too fond of the current version I was writing. It veered away from Lucas’s purpose. I’ve been working on character and dimension development. For the next part of the story, I needed to dive into the politics and mentality of the people and places so I can get the conflict and emotions right. The worlds are colliding/joining which will make for some intense scenes. I hope I can do it justice – I’m not a confrontational person.

I can’t find the story again, but here’s what I noted:

The first part, about the gates, sounds like talking heads. Could you change it into more of a dynamic discussion? For example one character challenging the other, like, “We’ve created a rip in time.” A rip in time. Okay. “What the hell does that mean?” And so.
