I would like a hold that could lead to death if the victim thrashed about to much; perhaps broke their neck or was without air for too&hellip;</p>

<p>I can&#8217;t find the story again, but here&#8217;s what I noted:</p>
<p>The first part, about the gates, sounds like talking heads. Could you change it into more of a dynamic discussion? For example one character challenging the other, like, &#8220;We&#8217;ve created a rip in time.&#8221; A rip in time. Okay. &#8220;What the hell does that mean?&#8221; And so.</p>
