Developing a series theme style & look
So thought I’d pop in and see what y’all are doing with your book covers. Anyone going through finding a cover artist and making up a series “theme” like me?
I think I’ve found one for this Urban Fantasy that i’m writing. We’ve been talking back and forth in email. She actually contacted me on X (Yah, I know), and I researched her and liked what I saw and liked the price, not too little to be icky and not too expensive to be out of my range. I like that she takes direction and hints and just from a couple of paragraphs of a summary of my novel, she created several mockups to give me ideas of what she could do and what might work and then we are working from there.
